Package A: This tour takes about three quarters of an hour, depending upon the age group of the students and the needs of the class (the average general admission tour is about the same length). The tour includes a general introduction to the history of the Mennonite settlement in what is now Lancaster County, an explanation of the unique architectural features of the 1719 House, and an examination of each of the rooms in the main living area of the house. If the group is much larger than about twenty-five students, we will divide the group and move through the tour in two or three stages. Total time for your visit to the Museum, including “rest stop” at the visitors center and off-loading and on-loading busses or vans: about one hour.

Fee for Package A: $1.50 per student; adult chaperones up to a ratio of  1 chaperone per 8 students are free (beyond the ratio of 1:8 adults are charged $4.00 each).
