Take exit 93 north, US 222 to Wakefield, Pennsylvania. At Wakefield, US 222 and
PA 272 come together for a bit less than a mile. Where they split again, hang a
left and follow PA 272. If you turned right and went on US 222, you could still
get to the Herr House -- but you will have to go through Quarryville first: just
follow the directions from Quarryville. If you stayed on 272, you have a very
straight shot over the incredible Buck (take the Quarryville route in heavy
weather!): one flashing traffic light at the junction with PA 372 (at The Buck)
and then the next traffic light at Penn Grant Road (about 8 miles later) is your
turn. Turn right, then at the fifth left turn left onto Hans Herr Drive. About
1/2 mile over the ridge is the Museum on your right.
