Your tax-deductible Herr House Foundation membership supports the ongoing preservation and interpretation of the 1719 Hans Herr House & Museum. We can’t do it without you!

For the descendants of Hans Herr who claim the 1719 Herr House as a part of their heritage, membership is a part of the Herr family legacy. For many others, membership expresses appreciation for the thoughtful preservation of Lancaster County history and our impressive array of educational events, which are open to everyone.

According to federal regulations, the actual cash value of your membership benefits must be subtracted from the amount of your contribution for tax deduction purposes. Therefore, your membership contribution minus $20 is the amount that is legally considered a donation to a non‐profit organization.
