Experience Colonial Life
Summer Day Camp at the 1719 Hans Herr House & Museum encourages campers to experience the rigors, challenges and rewards of early American life first hand through participating in activities and chores similar to those children their ages would have engaged in during the 18th century.

Each day, campers will dress in period costumes and help with preparing lunch for each other.  Campers will also experience a variety of chores and activities.  Campers will chose from several different activities planned for them to try.

This is more than a game of dress up
Campers will experience colonial life of a child first hand by:
- Dressing in period costumes
- Helping to prepare their lunches (may bring own lunch if desire so)
- Trying their hand at various activities
- Participating in various chores
- Relaxing and playing colonial games
