Hands-on learning opportunities
The 1719 Hans Herr House and Museum offers a wide variety of educational and entertaining programs for children and adults, school groups and families.

Our mission is to teach about the history of the Mennonites in Lancaster County. To achieve this goal, educational opportunities at the Hans Herr House are tailored to meet the needs of different age groups.

Programs for students are designed to compliment traditional and homeschool curriculums. Adult programs provide life enrichment through preservation and understanding of Colonial ways.
